Peripheral Equipment

A peripheral device connects to a computer system to add functionality. Examples are a mouse, keyboard, monitor, printer or scanner.  Below is information on standard peripheral equipment for on-campus faculty/staff. Online faculty may request reimbursement for peripheral equipment. Check with your supervisor to determine if you qualify.

Standard Assigned Equipment (Most roles)

Windows

  • Dual 24″ monitor
  • Wired Keyboard
  • Wired Mouse
  • Video Camera
  • Headset with microphone
  • Access to a printer or printer/scanner

Mac

  • One 27″ monitor
  • Wireless keyboard
  • Wireless mouse
  • Built-in video camera
  • Built-in microphone
  • Access to printer/printer scanner

Other equipment (by request) based on need

  • Wireless keyboard
  • Ergonomic keyboard
  • Wireless mouse
  • Ergonomic mouse
  • Printer (A local printer may be a Departmental purchase)
  • Scanner
  • Tablets/iPad (Departmental purchase)
