Internet Access
Internet access is the ability to connect to the Internet using computer terminals, computers, or mobile devices; and to access services such as email and the World Wide Web. Various technologies, at a wide range of speeds are used by Internet service providers (ISPs) to provide this service.
Both campus and off-campus staff need access to the Internet in order to access applications, files, and services.
On-campus connectivity
ATSU on-campus faculty and staff have Internet connectivity through ATSU’s broadband networks. Depending on your equipment you can connect wired or wirelessly using your ATSU credentials.
- The cost of access is absorbed by the ITS department and there is no cost to individual departments.
Off-campus connectivity
To successfully work off campus for any length of time, you will need broadband Internet connection. This type of connection is usually purchased through cable or telephone services with higher speed services recommended. Via such connections, you can access your applications, files, and other services provided by ATSU.
