Important Digital Measures Updates
Digital Measures, ATSU’s system of tracking Teaching, Mentoring, Publications, Research and Service Activity will be updated on Tue Dec. 10 2019. Changes will not affect any data previously entered, just any new data input.
The updated system will provide the following improvements:
Responsive Design for Mobile Platforms
With a modernized layout that is designed to respond to your screen size, it’s easier to add and update your activities, both on-campus and on any mobile device.
Formatting for Text Areas
With bold, italics, and other rich text formatting options, it’s easier to communicate exactly what you need to in abstracts, descriptions and other text entry areas in the system.
Adding Contributors (and other Sub-records) is More Straightforward
When capturing the names of contributors to your collaborative activities – like publications, research – you’ll see the new drag-and-drop reordering capability, more intuitive deletion, and the expand/collapse option for sections like Authors and Investigators, which helps you free up screen space and move more quickly through your entry experience.
Faster Validation
With inline validation and error messages, the system will let you know right away if anything you’ve entered doesn’t match the field parameters. No more surprises when you save!
These are just a few of the improvements that will be available on Tue Dec. 10, 2019. To see the full list and learn more about the changes, please go to this link.
If you want to see the changes in advance the Beta Digital Measures environment can be accessed via the ATSU portal to explore the changes using your data without affecting your production data.
