Windows Printing – Missouri Campus

Printing from Windows computers varies across the operating systems.  Scroll down for instructions on all approved Windows OS versions.

Windows 7 instructions

Note: You must be connected to the ATSU network to complete this procedure.

  1. Choose Start then select Control Panel
  2. Choose the Device and Printers icon in the Control Panel and then select Add Printer
  3. Choose Add a Local Printer
  4. Select “Create a new port.” Change the option to Standard TCP/IP Port. Choose Next
  5. Change the Device type to TCP/IP Device
  6. In the Hostname or IP Address field enter the corresponding DNS names for the desired printer
    • For Library Lab 1 enter: P-MO-LIBLAB1.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 2 enter: P-MO-LIBLAB2.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 3 enter: P-MO-LIBLAB3.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 4 (East) enter: P-MO-LIBLAB4.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 5 (Downstairs) enter: P-MO-LIBLAB5.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For color printer enter: P-MO-Lib10CENTCOLOR.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For the Howard wing enter: P-MO-HOWARDWINGSTUDENT.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For the IPE Lobby enter: P-MO-MOS-IPESTUDENT01.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For the Memorial Alumni Hall Study Area enter: P-MO-ALUMNISTUDENT.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
  1. Type a common printer name in the Printer Name box such as Library Lab 1 and choose the Next button. Click Finish
  2. Repeat the steps 1-7 to add additional printers

Windows 8 instructions

Note: You must be connected to the ATSU network to complete this procedure.

  1. Choose Start then select Settings
  2. Choose the Devices icon in Settings and then select Add Printer
  3. Choose “The printer that I want isn’t listed”
  4. Select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname. Choose Next
  5. Change the Device type to TCP/IP Device
  6. In the Hostname or IP Address field enter the corresponding DNS names for the desired printer
    • For Library Lab 1 enter: P-MO-LIBLAB1.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 2 enter: P-MO-LIBLAB2.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 3 enter: P-MO-LIBLAB3.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 4 (East) enter: P-MO-LIBLAB4.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For Library Lab 5 (Downstairs) enter: P-MO-LIBLAB5.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For color printer enter: P-MO-Lib10CENTCOLOR.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For the Howard wing enter: P-MO-HOWARDWINGSTUDENT.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For the IPE Lobby enter: P-MO-MOS-IPESTUDENT01.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
    • For the Memorial Alumni Hall Study Area enter: P-MO-ALUMNISTUDENT.DDNS.KCOM.EDU
  1. Type a common printer name in the Port Name box such as Library Lab 1 and choose the Next button. Click Finish
  2. Repeat the steps 1-7 to add additional printers

Windows 10 instructions
